I had an exceptional two-night stay at a cozy cabin near Geysir and Gullfoss. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I even had the incredible experience of watching the northern lights from my room! The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, and I especially enjoyed a fun horse-riding tour. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at Geysir Hestar for a few nights while exploring the Golden Circle. The cozy and clean atmosphere, along with personal touches, made me feel right at home. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I loved being able to see horses nearby, as well as bunnies, a cat, and a dog on the property. The food served for dinner and breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect - just a short drive to the Geysirs and Gullfoss. Plus, I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the northern lights! I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at a beautiful little cottage at Geysir Hestar and it was absolutely delightful. the cottage was cozy and charming, with everything fitting perfectly inside. Despite its small size, it never felt cramped. It had a well-equipped kitchen, a small bathroom, and a comfortable living area and dining space. the highlight for us was the sleeping arrangements, with one bedroom and up to six beds in the roof. It was a unique experience, although you have to be okay with climbing stairs. the location was perfect, just a short distance from the geysir and gulfoss. the farm had bunnies, dogs, cats, and horses, making it an ideal place for families with children.

It was a wonderful stay, and we would highly recommend it. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

Impeccable location with stunning views of Gulfoss and Geysir. Conveniently close to the popular Skjol pizza place. Tastefully decorated living area with sweeping views of the Geysir valley. Excellent amenities and well-furnished. Ample toilets and showers with plenty of hand towels. Owner went above and beyond by clearing the snow from the pathway after a storm.

No complaints, felt free to seek any assistance if needed.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated between the stunning Gulfoss and Geysir attractions, making it easy to explore these natural wonders. the hotel offered convenient access to petrol and dining options, with a restaurant just a 2-minute walk away and others within a short 5-minute drive. the cozy cottage provided all the necessary amenities and was impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay.

One drawback was the lack of clear directions upon arrival, as we had to search for someone to check us in. the heating system in the cottage was also not ideal, with only a few older electric portable heaters available.

Beautifully decorated loft, sunny room with lots of windows. Shampoo, conditioner, tea, and coffee provided. Excellent trail ride with knowledgeable guide, peaceful scenery, and well-tempered horses. Attentive and accommodating staff. Lovely cottage in picturesque surroundings.

geysir hestar was an amazing surprise during our stay in haukadalur. the cozy cabin and helpful staff made our two nights unforgettable. the location was perfect, near gullfoss and the geysers. we even had a fun horse riding tour. definitely the highlight of our trip.

Ventilation in room needs improvement.

We had a delightful stay at the cozy cottage surrounded by magnificent Icelandic horses. The beds were comfortable and the view of the horses from our cottage was simply breathtaking. Despite the small hiccups with the shower temperature and slow wifi, the overall experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby geysers. We highly recommend staying at Geysir Hestar for an unforgettable experience in Iceland. we'll definitely be recommending this place to others.
